Configuring and Extending Nexus Projects

Change behaviour without changing code: settings, custom fields, templates and automations.

Settings

13 configuration keys are read by this application. An administrator sets them, and they apply to the whole instance.

Custom fields

Custom fields extend a record without waiting for a release. A field added here appears on the form, in exports, and in the API payload for that record.

Document templates

Printed and emailed documents render from a template per document type. The preview uses the same renderer as the final output, so what you see is what the recipient gets.

Automations

Rules run on create, update, field change, delete, a schedule, or on demand, and can send an email, update a field, call a webhook, raise a task or start an approval.
