Dashboards, report groups, exports and scheduled delivery.

Where the numbers come from

Reports read the same records the screens do, filtered to the entity you are signed in to. Two people can therefore see different totals from the same report, correctly, when their entity access differs. That is the first thing to check when two people disagree about a figure.

Report groups

Reports are grouped, and access is granted per group and per action, so a role can view a report without being able to export or schedule it. The full matrix is in Securing Nexus Inventory.

Exports and scheduling

Any report can be exported. A scheduled report is delivered by email on a cadence and runs as the person who scheduled it, so it carries that person's entity scope, not the recipient's. Check this before scheduling a report to a wider audience.
